• Alumni Initiation - Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity allows brothers to initiate men who have already attended an accredited institution.  Men invite their grandfathers, fathers and brothers to take part in initiation.  Alumni initiates are full members of Pi Kappa Phi and have the same rights as men initiated in college.  The only restriction is they cannot previously be a member of any national social fraternity and they must be completed with their schooling.  They can be members of honor fraternities and/or service fraternities.

Facts About The OMICRON Chapter

• We are one of the oldest chapters here at Alabama
• In our 80 plus years here at the University of Alabama, we have won many national and campus awards including: Best Overall Fraternity and Greek Week Champions
• We are very involved with the intramural program and have several teams that compete in a wide rage of sports
• We are ranked in the upper third of fraternities at Alabama for GPA
• We have one of the largest fraternity Houses and the best location on campus (facing University Boulevard)
• As for brothers of Pi Kappa Phi we are very proud of our fraternity and can only see our chapter getting stronger

Member Education

Pi Kappa Phi has a strict anti-hazing member education policy. The National Council and Supreme Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity oppose all acts of hazing in any form under any circumstances. All pre-initiation activities for associates must follow Supreme Law.

Service

Push America is our national service project, founded by Pi Kappa Phi. The purpose of Push America is to raise awareness and funds for programs to help people understand handicapped people. See Push Page.

Dues

There is a pre-initiation fee that must be paid after the bid is accepted and a one time fee that must be paid upon initiation into Pi Kappa Phi for lifetime membership. The semester after a brother is initiated: he is required to pay semester dues. These dues cover everything from administrative costs, meals, insurance, formals, and any other expenses for the entire semester.
